The Last of Us To Receive Vinyl Soundtrack Treatment

The Last of Us LP 2

The original soundtrack to The Last of Us, a series I’m sure to do a write up on soon enough, is getting the star treatment.  Mondo, a website which creates limited edition screen printed posters that all sell out in two minutes, among other things, will put the 4XLP Box set up for sale this Wednesday, July 22nd, at a random time.  Not only does it include Gustavo Santaolalla’s entire score, but it also has every ambient moment throughout the game as well as the score from the DLC Left Behind.

Beautiful

The price – a cool $75 – might seem a bit steep, but considering the assumed limited quantities and the cover art by Olly Moss and Jay Shaw, it’s sure to be a collector’s item within the afternoon.  The e-mail release suggested following their Twitter for updates on when the records go on sale.

Let us know if you manage to snag one!
